Mary P. "Molly" (Molloy) Leahy of Enfield loving wife of Kenneth Leahy entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital. Molly was born in County Kildare Ireland, the daughter of the late John and Mary Molloy. Molly a resident of Enfield since 1965 was a faithful parishioner of St. Patrick's Church. She enjoyed knitting, reading, bird watching and tending to her flowers. Molly was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and UCONN Women's Basketball, and very proud of her Irish Heritage. In addition to her husband, Ken to whom she was married 54 years she is also survived by four sons, Sean Leahy of North Carolina, Allan Leahy of Oregon, Kevin Leahy and his wife, Wendy of Enfield and Stephen Leahy and his wife, Erica of Enfield; her five beloved grandchildren, Sarah, Nicole, Megan, Victoria and Bridget; three sisters, Josephine Flynn and her husband, Paschal, Nuala Carroll, Anne Ryan and her husband, Jack; all of Ireland as well as a large family of nieces, nephews. Molly was predeceased by two brothers, Sean and Michael Molloy and a sister, Bridget Feeney. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Monday, May 22, 2017, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial for Molly will be celebrated on WEDNESDAY, May 24, 2017, at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church, 64 Pearl St., Enfield. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in memory of Molly may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1365 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06096.
