John D.  Radziewicz
John D. Radziewicz, 71, of Enfield, CT loving husband of Florence "Flo" (Murray)Radziewicz entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Baystate Medical Center. John was born December 25, 1946, in Somersville, CT the son of the late Joseph G. and Mary (Holowinko) Radziewicz. John was previously employed with the Stanadyne Corporation in Windsor for over 15 years in purchasing and retired from Trumpf Inc. in Farmington after 20 years as purchasing manager. He was a parishioner of St. Martha's Church. John enjoyed fishing and goose hunting and was a longtime member of the Windsor Rod and Gun Club. John was a fan of UCONN Women's Basketball and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and attending their activities. In addition to his wife, Flo to whom he was married 48 years he is also survived by two children, Mary Beth Taylor, David Radziewicz and his wife, Robyn all of Enfield; a brother, James Radziewicz and his wife, Barbara of Somers; his four grandchildren who loved their Poppy, Ryan, Julia, Joseph, and Hayden Radziewicz; his sisters-in-law, Jeannette Lamontagne and her husband, Robert, Connie Williams and her husband, Keith; brothers-in-law, Tom Murray and his wife, Doreen and Craig Murray and his wife, Agnes and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by a brother and his wife, Joseph and Carol Radziewicz. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral procession will gather on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 9 am at the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am at St. Martha Church. Burial will follow in Somers West Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of John may be made to Loaves and Fishes, PO Box 544 Enfield, CT 06082.
